Benefits of DMANC
NCACVB enhances the professional competence of the
individuals who are active, and creates opportunities that
expand the promotional reach of the communities they
serve. The association provides a forum for the exchange of
ideas and provides insight to industry-shaping issues. It
consolidates funds to stretch the limited marketing dollars
members must put forth to increase their visibility in a
crowded marketplace. Large or small, experienced or not,
each member will gain from his/her involvement.
Specific benefits include:
• The opportunity for DMO representatives to network and
communicate with other tourism professionals
• The opportunity for DMO representatives to be equipped
with the resources and outlets available to quickly
address tourism issues in their destination through communication
with other tourism professionals
• The ability to communicate with members similar sized
DMOs’ and destinations on common issues
• The opportunity to plan strategically to address relevant
issues facing tourism in North Carolina
